This exhibition aims to provide a comprehensive “image” of New York graphic design studio practice in 2013. In addition to original work and photographic portraits, each of the participating studios completed an extensive online questionnaire designed to document details of each studio’s disciplines, history, structure, team, space and workaday culture.
These visualizations and data-driven stories are built using the data gathered from each questionnaire. In addition, the responses are used to construct each studio’s profile.
